Kia ora. Welcome to our blog. Wahi Ako is a Year 3 and 4 class at Hornby Primary School. We are on a great learning journey this year. Swimming in the school pool
On Monday we were lucky enough to start swimming in our school pool. It is great that we can carry on gaining more skills following on from our lessons at the swim school.
Swimming Lessons
To finish our lessons at Canterbury Swim School we had some sessions about water safety. One activity we did was pulling someone to safety. We also practiced staying afloat, moving along an edge and jumping in safely.
