When we went to Spencer Park we collected some things from the beach.  We have spent time making some art from these.  Here are some of our examples.

School Kit Writing Part 2

We have finished our School Kit Writing and packaged it up ready to send to Auckland. We hope they enjoy it as much as we enjoyed completing it.

Duffy Theatre

Yesterday Duffy Theatre visited the school.  They performed a play about Global Warming. There was wildfires, cyclones and droughts in the play.

In the play there was a super hero from the planet Zindax.  She way trying to save the earth but she kept making mistakes because she couldn't read.  Duffy helped her to read and became a reading super hero.

Spencer Park

On Friday the trekkers team went to Spencer Park.  This is part of our term 1 topic - finding out what makes New Zealand special.  When we were there we spent some time at the beach, doing the wetlands walk and at the playground.  It was a great way to spend the day.

School Kit Writing

Miss Scotts writing groups have been working on a School Kit Writing activity.  This involves finding out information about our class and using poetic tools to describe ourselves.
